Crystal by Greenoak A semi-modular synthesizer featuring both subtractive synthesis and frequency modulation (FM) synthesis. Great for pads. Free Alpha by Linplug A subtractive synth that emulates the warmth of early 80s keyboards. Can get nice and dirty. Kore Player by Native Instrument A striped down version of Kore 2. Comes with 50 quite useable (and changeable) presets.

Le Synth by Pierre Couprie A fun and slightly wacky synth. Great for adding glitchy elements. Remedy by Keytosound A basic 2 oscillator, multiwave form synth with a cool arpeggiator.
